Orlando + Central Florida · Site documentation

Pre- & post-construction site video recording.

Build a clear visual record of existing conditions, active work and closeout—planned around your access rules, safety process and project documentation checklist.

Construction documentation that is built around the job

When the project needs more than a few progress photos.

Checkbox Media records the visible story of a jobsite before, during and after construction. We work from your scope, route and shot priorities so the archive is useful to the people who need to review it later.

The three moments that matter

A record that follows the work.

Choose a single visit, recurring coverage or a start-to-finish documentation plan. Each stage can use a different checklist.

01 / BEFORE

Pre-construction site video recording

Capture agreed existing conditions before mobilization: curb and pavement, sidewalks, drainage, landscaping, fencing, access routes, adjacent areas and existing exteriors or interiors.

  • Repeatable walk or drive routes
  • Visible condition detail where requested
  • Project-defined location references
02 / DURING

Construction progress documentation

Keep owner, lender and project teams oriented with milestone visits, repeatable vantage points, ground coverage and aerial footage when the site, weather and approvals allow.

  • Milestone or interval visits
  • Ground-level and aerial options
  • Time-lapse by arrangement
03 / AFTER

Post-construction video recording

Create a closeout record of agreed finished work, project displays, key exterior and interior areas, and before-and-after views when a baseline visit is in place.

  • Closeout or turnover coverage
  • Finished-condition views
  • Organized delivery for the team
What the documentation can contain

Capture the details that are easy to lose after the work starts.

Every project starts with a written capture list. That lets your team decide what matters most, where the record begins and which milestones need a repeat visit.

Existing-condition baselineAgreed visible areas, approaches, site edges, nearby assets, facades, landscaping, drainage and other conditions relevant to the scope.
Progress and milestone viewsRepeatable angles that show the work as it changes, plus a practical wide view for the project team.
Project signs and displaysSite signage, sponsor or funder displays, job boards and other agreed visual elements—captured as your checklist directs.
Organized media deliveryClearly named folders and review links organized by shoot date, stage, area or milestone, with master files available by arrangement.
HUD, owner & agency display documentation

Document what is posted—without making the wrong compliance promise.

Some HUD-assisted, public or owner-directed projects need a visual record of project displays and site conditions. We can build your owner-, counsel- or compliance-team-approved checklist into the production plan.

That can include approved Equal Housing Opportunity logo, slogan or statement displays where the project’s requirements call for them; project identification; funder or sponsor signage; posted notices; and the surrounding location or milestone context.

Checkbox Media provides documentation to a project-approved scope. We do not determine whether a display, site condition, construction activity or deliverable satisfies HUD, contract, legal, safety or regulatory requirements.

A practical production process

Built for a live jobsite.

We work with the people already running the site—not around them.

01

Share the project brief

Send the location, stage, due dates, areas to record and intended use. An RFP, owner note or shot list is useful if you have one.

02

Confirm access & safety

We align on site contact, sign-in, PPE, escort needs, work zones, visitor rules and the safest timing for coverage.

03

Record the agreed route

We capture the planned views methodically, then add context shots that make later review easier.

04

Deliver a usable archive

Your team receives organized media and review-ready files based on the delivery structure we agreed at kickoff.

Common reasons teams call us

Make the visual record work harder.

  • Existing-condition and pre-construction documentation
  • Construction progress updates for owners and stakeholders
  • Remote review context for distributed teams
  • Project-display and sign documentation
  • Closeout, turnover and post-construction recording
  • Marketing footage captured alongside the documentation plan
Need an aerial layer?

We can add a higher-level view when it is workable.

Aerial footage can show site scale, circulation, building progress and surrounding context. It is always subject to site permission, weather, FAA airspace and operational conditions.

Construction video questions

Answers before we set the route.

What is pre-construction site video recording?

It is a planned visual baseline before work starts. The route can include agreed visible conditions such as curbs, pavement, sidewalks, drainage, landscaping, fencing, adjacent areas, exteriors, interiors and access points.

What does post-construction site video recording include?

Closeout coverage can document agreed finished work, key exterior or interior areas, project displays and before-and-after views when there is a baseline record to compare against.

How much does construction site video recording cost?

Construction site video recording starts at $499 for a defined local Orlando-area documentation scope. Final pricing depends on the site size, access, requested routes, crew time, travel, repeat visits, delivery needs and any aerial coverage.

Can you work from an RFP, scope or project checklist?

Yes. Send the document or a clear capture list before the shoot. We will use it to organize the plan, confirm practical site access and identify what should be delivered.

Can you record HUD displays and Equal Housing Opportunity signage?

Yes, when your owner, contractor or compliance team includes those elements in the approved project checklist. We can document specified displays and their on-site context; your project team remains responsible for defining what is required.

Do you certify HUD or construction compliance?

No. We create visual documentation to an approved capture scope. We do not make legal, regulatory, safety or compliance determinations.

Can you use a drone on an active construction site?

Possibly. Airspace, site rules, weather, safety, required approvals and operational conditions determine whether aerial coverage is feasible.

How are construction video files delivered?

We agree on the delivery structure before the shoot. Options can include review links and clearly named folders by date, area, milestone or project stage, with master files available by arrangement.
